The g-Dress bandage protects the wound from contaminants and diseases from the outside environment. It is water-resistant and prevents spills by keeping the dressing on the site intact. It has a long-lasting adhesive that holds the wound dressing in place for longer and protects it against bacterial infection. This dressing is not stretchy. A non-stick substance is used to line the wound pad. The pad will not cling to the wound as much. The adhesive is non-irritating to the skin.
